Trauma Resiliency Model Audio (adapted version)
The Trauma Resiliency Model is a healing technique that allows people to release physical and emotional pain in the body. You start with resourcing to create a feeling of safety. You then tune into your body and notice where you might feel pain, pressure, or tension. If you would like, you can think of something that is upsetting you when you tune into your body. A very easy way to access pain is through holographic images in the body. Once the image is identified, through various prompts, you will be guided to safely and gently explore, track, and influence this image in your mind's eye and notice what is happening in your body as you do so, such as changes in your breathing pattern and vocal gestures such as yawning. At the end of the exercise, you will further take note of shifts in your thoughts and feelings. The trauma resiliency model is an effective, gentle way to facilitate healing and help you to align your body, mind, and spirit.
